                 The City-Wide Council of Presidents is the Official Resident Association Body that represents the 344 conventional public housing developments of the New York City Housing Authority ( NYCHA) with over 410,000 official residents* – That is more residents than in the entire cities of Atlanta, Miami and Pittsburgh. The City Wide Council is the largest public housing authority (PHA) Resident Association in North America. There are 344 resident associations in the Public Housing Developments. There are 9 District Councils, headed by 9 chairpersons: Three in Brooklyn, Two in the Bronx, One in Queens, Two in Manhattan, and One in Staten Island  The 9 Chairpersons of the District Councils compose the City Wide Council of Presidents.
